K3Y Ltd authors a paper on “Threatening the 5G core via PFCP DoS attacks: the case of blocking UAV communications”.

K3Y Ltd is proud to announce that the paper entitled “Threatening the 5G core via PFCP DoS attacks: the case of blocking UAV communications” has been published by EURASIP – Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking: https://jwcn-eurasipjournals.springeropen.com/articles/10.1186/s13638-022-02204-5

The authors (George Amponis, Panagiotis Radoglou Grammatikis, Thomas Lagkas, Wissam Mallouli, Ana Cavalli, Dimitrios Klonidis, Evangelos Markakis and Panagiotis Sarigiannidis) investigate and implement a set of attacks against 5G core elements, leveraging Packet Forwarding Control Protocol (PFCP) control messages.

This work was implemented in the context of SANCUS Project.
